As we in the West are accustomed to hear from our beloved free media about how lucky we are to live in a wonderful liberal democracy such as ours, it might actually come as something as a surprise to consider the fact that, while 
being caught in possession of cannabis – even for personal use – in the United Kingdom can land you with a five-year prison sentence and an unlimited fine, cannabis in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is, er, completely and utterly legal:

Notice also that it is decriminalised in that other arch-enemy of basic human freedom and tolerance, Iran!
